North Grafton, MA – The Board of Directors at Homefield Credit Union has named Karl J. Moisan President and Chief Executive Officer, effective on January 29, 2018. Mr. Moisan, currently EVP, Chief Business Officer of Homefield CU, will replace Lloyd L. Hamm, Jr. Mr. Hamm, who joined Homefield CU in April 2013, is leaving to become President and CEO of Newburyport Five Cents Savings Bank.
Under Hamm’s leadership, the Credit Union experienced a successful name change, the opening of a second branch office, a 14% increase in assets, and a 60% increase in loans. According to Hamm, Mr. Moisan played a major role in the Credit Union’s development over the last few years.
“Karl, who was hired in July 2013, has been an invaluable resource to me and to the Credit Union,” Hamm stated. “He has had a major positive impact on our loan portfolio as well as our lending and business development teams. Most importantly, he embodies a high level of service, professionalism and local commitment. I know I am leaving Homefield Credit Union in good hands”.

Mr. Moisan has had a long and successful career in banking. Prior to joining Homefield Credit Union, Moisan was SVP, Business Development and Commercial Lending at Marlborough Savings Bank. He received a Bachelor of Science from Norwich University, a Master of Business Administration from Rider University, and graduated from The Stonier National Graduate School of Banking.
Mr. Moisan is an involved resident in the town of Grafton. He currently serves as Vice Chair of the Grafton Capital Improvement and Planning Committee, is a member of the town’s Economic Development Commission, and is a coach in the Grafton Lacrosse Youth Association. Moisan is a member of the National Eagle Scout Association and a member (retired) of the United States Marine Corps Reserve.
